Biofuels in the Winter
Well it sure didn't work out so well for the Bloomington, Minnesota where it was more than 10 degrees below zero last week. Here is the Star Tribune report from last Thursday:
All schools in the Bloomington School District will be closed today after state-required biodiesel fuel clogged in school buses Thursday morning and left dozens of students stranded in frigid weather, the district said late Thursday.
I have a friend who has made his own bio-diesel and he used a small heater on the gas tank during the winter.
