Is Joe Satriani Up for a Grammy?

Look I like Coldplay's Viva la Vida just fine but it is Joe Satriani's If I Could Fly with words. And sure, the melody probably even came from somewhere else. I am not a fan of Satriani so I was surprised at how much I liked that song four or five years ago when I first heard it, so sure the Coldplay song also sounded pretty good. Just saying.
