In reaction to the ice storm disaster in Kentucky
Oscar winner and noted liberal activist Sean Penn has flown to the state to work as a volunteer. Contacted yesterday by cell phone on the ground in Kentucky Penn found a few moments to talk about his new snowmachine and how he found "that baby in a Hollywood back lot - take that Todd Palin!" Penn said that he was "here to help my people." Asked about his new snowmachine Penn stated that he shipped the machine from LA on Friday morning and that he hoped to help "the folks in the hollers" by Sunday afternoon. When Penn was asked if he had anything to say to President Obama that would help his people Penn said, "they're not really my people."
