This Could be a Hanging Offense

Some guy west of Kalamazoo, Michigan came out to find his snowmobile stolen. So he borrowed another snowmobile and joimed by family members in a car he followed the tracks 10 miles up to the garage door of a snowmobile chop-shop. Considering that this winter has been the best winter for snowmobiling that we have seen in years I can see why the guy followed those tracks across ten miles of farmer's fields and backroads.

Michigan: The State of Stupidity?

Michael Moore has challenged former Senator Fred Thompson to a debate and he included this warning: “I feel obligated to forewarn you that I was the winner of the 1971-72 Detroit Free Press Debate Award for the state of Michigan.” Mr. Moore dropped out of a Michigan Junior College after one semester, if the nonsense concerning the sorry state of debate in Michigan is true then it says volumes about Michigan. However I am skeptical of this claim. Also note that Mr. Moore believes that his latest “film” may be seized by the Bush Administration. Sicko indeed.

Bush Killed Kenny!

Kenny is of course the animated South Park character who meets an unfortunate demise by the end of each episode. The Michigan Daily has reported that a “9/11 truther” group was belittled at the Michigan Union by the university’s chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. The student group stood outside the door of the “truthers” meeting wearing tin-foil hats and chanting inanities such as “Bush Causes Cancer” and the ever popular “Bush Killed Kenny!” Popular Mechanics debunked these “truther” folks two years ago.
