Obama White Sox Hats?

Bridgeport had better get used to Hope and Change. If Anne at the Backyard Conservative gets wind of this we might see her at Wrigley Field next summer - after all, it's a great place to see Hot Rod Blagojevich!

I'm no sunshine Sox fan, but I'll never wear the O hat:)

Good to hear on both points!

You know, despite some in the crowd Wrigley is a great place and of course the great Ronald Reagan was a Cub fan, George Will can only partially negate that.

The closest that I came to President Reagan was during the construction of the lightstands in Wrigley. I lived on Sheffield, across from the park at the time and sometimes after work a few of us would go up on our roof and watch games or in this case construction, one day all helicopter and other work stopped and then a group of military helicopters came over, one of them hoovered over the field. Somebody in our group said, "Holy S***, that's Marine One!" (20-something traders, what can I say). We all stood and saluted. The great man in the helicopter looked out at us and gave us a smile and one of his wave/salutes. We were on a rooftop and he was hoovering a little above our eye-level and over the pitcher's mound. What a thrill.
