Barney Frank Ad - One of This Year's Most Dishonest?

It seems hard to imagine that any ad would stand out this year but a new one by Barney Frank (D-Ma) is outrageous. Mr. Frank has had more to do with the Fannie Mae mess, one of the foundations of our current economic problems, than nearly any single person on the planet. He pushed for Fannie to make ever increasing levels of risky loans, he ran cover for the coming disaster for years by loudly attacking anybody who would dare question the financial stability of Fannie Mae. Mr. Frank currently Chairs and has long been a member of the House Financial Services Committee that oversees the now collapsed Fannie Mae. Mr. Frank even spent a decade sleeping with one of the men who designed the loans that have blown up in the face of Fannie Mae and the American tax payer. Here is the propaganda of a liar who has cost you thousands:

Sid Viscous Working For Hilary Again!

Sid "Viscous" Blumenthal is back working for the Clintons. Mr. Blumenthal, a former Chicagoan is known as a very dishonest man. Mr. Blumenthal was even taken to task for lying to the Grand Jury investigating the Monica Lewinski case. Check this out:

And keep in mind he said all of this after he told the Grand Jury that Monica Lewinsky was a stalker. He said this after he had come out of the Grand Jury room and lied about what they asked him. The lies were good and convenient for columnists like Anthony Lewis and Frank Rich to solidify the case that Starr is an extra-constitutional monster or some other gobbledygook. But they were lies and even the Grand Jury foreperson said so to his face.

Back on June 25, 1998 Mr. Blumenthal appeared before the Lewinski Grand Jury for a third time when the Grand Jury Forewoman said the following:

“We’re very concerned about the fact that during your last visit that an inaccurate representation of the events that happened was retold on the steps of the courthouse.”

The fact that Hilary Clinton has hired a man who the entire world knows (those of us who remember anyways) is a contemptible liar is no real surprise, her name is Hilary Clinton after all.

Update: Let's not forget that Blumenthal was accused of perjury by his former friend Christopher Hitchens. Let's also not forget that Hilary has also hired the despicable Sandy Berger. Happy Days Are Here Again...

Liberals Ignore Geneva Convention

I am still waiting for the liberal outrage over the refusal of Iran to follow the Geneva Convention on POWs; a treaty that both Iran and Britain have signed. This Daily Mail article titled "Iranians Parade Navy Woman in hijab" outlines one of the violations; parading prisoners in front of cameras for publicity. This is contrary to the Geneva Convention, however the ignorant leftists of our world don't care. This is just another example that gives the lie to liberal nonsense concerning their "feelings". The woman in the photo has "confessed" to being in Iranian territorial waters; a lie that has been proven through the use of radar and GPS. This is another violation of the Geneva Convention. What did the Iranians do to illegally coerce her into making those statements? The woman should be in a British uniform rather than an islamic scarf, another violation. The British government has been denied access and the sailors have been kept in a secret place, both violations of the Geneva Conventions. Western leftist will stop at nothing to sell out freedom. Hello NY Times!

Barack Obama – The Audacity of BS II

While doing some research for this post I reread one of Mr. Obama’s vaunted speeches concerning the war in Iraq and to put it mildly he is not very well informed, or else he is full of it. Among the Senator’s bs that I was forced to wade through were these two paragraphs from a speech made to the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations in November of 2005:


“The President told the American people about Iraqi attempts to acquire yellow cake during the State of the Union. The Vice-President made statements on national television expressing certainty about Iraq's nuclear weapons programs. Secretary Rice used the words "mushroom cloud" over and over again.

We know now that even at the time these unequivocal statements were made, intelligence assessments existed that contradicted these claims. Analysis from the CIA and State Department was summarily dismissed when it did not help the Administration make the case for war.”


That nonsense comes from none other than the thoroughly discredited Joe Wilson, a prevaricator of little skill. The assertions that Mr. Obama passed on had been thoroughly debunked by a report from the US Senate that was made public over sixteen months earlier. Heck that news was even in the Washington Post. The Post wrote that “(t)he panel found that Wilson's report, rather than debunking intelligence about purported uranium sales to Iraq, as he has said, bolstered the case for most intelligence analysts.” Flying Debris recently commented on this Joe Wilson nonsense in I Am Not Dick Cheney; in that post a troll was asked:

“Do you realize that those who have promoted this Wilson story, both inside and outside of the CIA have been promoting the idea that unelected employees of the Federal government have every right to use their positions to undermine the elected government of the United States?Do you realize that this form of fascism is being promoted largely by those who describe their political opponents as fascists and worse every day?”

Hysterically just four paragraphs before that dishonest assertion Senator Obama stated that “(t)his political war - a war of talking points and Sunday news shows and spin - is not one I'm interested in joining. It's a divisive approach that only pushes us further from what the American people actually want - a pragmatic solution to the real war we're facing in Iraq.” Four paragraphs later he lays on the bs that had been publicly debunked over sixteen months before his speech. Senator you have not simply joined the “war of talking points” you have become just another Sherpa of bs.
