Commies, Commies, Everywhere - May Day in Chicago
Well, it's May Day, the international day of communist celebration and here in Chicago the local open-borders types got together with the local communists to march on the loop. These photos were taken on my walk from the Chicago Board of Trade Building to the Jackson Street el stop on the Red Line, a route that takes me right through the Federal Plaza.

Yes, that is a Mexican flag enmeshed with an American flag, this site explains how to properly display the American flag and it does not include any instructions on blending it with other flags. Sheesh.

In Chicago, people who face tough economic times become bitter and show up downtown vending conspiracy based pamphlets from folding tables. Here in Chicago the bitter just need some hope for a change.

A couple of commie-chicks brought a grocery stroller to hold their commie flag. Very Bucktown.

This guy was out on a closed off Dearborn Street riding another guy's shoulders while waving a Mexican flag but what caught my eye was the flag in the foreground. Could it be?

Yep, it was an Anarchist flag. You really have to hand it to the couple with the matching tights, they drip dedication; however they did look like a house from Kansas could fall on them at any moment.

"Making Revolution Through Emancipating Humanity", commie-chick chic is black on black with that uplifting message. The tee-shirt message also directs you to this hardcore communist web site, the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA. Sadism takes all types.

Welcome Malkin Readers and thanks to Michelle for the link. Check out the link for coverage that you won't get elsewhere. Michelle's site features a video by local bloggers the Freedom Folks, who were accosted by a local socialist thug in Union Park. The guy called MJ a fascist, those commies need help with their vocabulary. Also many thanks to Publia at the Wilmette blog and Anne at the Backyard Conservative for all of the links.

I am impressed that you could identify the Anarchist flag. Great photos.
The fact that I can recognize that flag really doesn't say much about some of my neighbors. In their defense most anarchists seem to be college kids. Not much hope or changey stuff with them.
Did you see the group of maybe 4 people running around with anti-Israel signs? They were across the street from the "Fight Back:" people.
I am not sure what Israel has to do immigration.
As I told a friend of mine, I am actually somewhat sympathetic to the immigrants (even the illegals), but would be a lot more sympathetic if they were not running around with commie flags and picture of Che.

Thanks for the link! Will return the favor on Monday. We're glad you caught the Daley Plaza lunacy we'd had about all the patchouli stink we could handle for one day!
I did not see any anti-Israeli signs, I would've photographed them if I had. I guess it wouldn't be a moonbat march without those hateful signs, they appear at all of the Michigan Avenue anti-war marches.
El Rider --
I tried taking a photo but it was with my camera phone, and the sign did not come out at all.
It just seems that everything with these leftists always comes down to the Jews these days. Back after the Taliban was toppled, I was changing trains at Union Square in NYC. A member of ANSWER was handing out something about war crimes in Afghanistan and was trying to hand me a flyer. I had a bad bad at work and said no. He was very insistent so I finally told him to go "F" himself. He starting yelling that I was a "fag Jew" (for the record, I am a straight Catholic Italian-American).
Doesn't a flag for anarchists kind of defeat the purpose?
Just wondering; Is burning the Mexican flag considered the sort of speech envisioned by our founders? Well then, let's get on with it.
Bumbles Bounce! And bring common sense to the conversation!
"Very Bucktown." I love it!
Was ICE too busy to collect up the illegal aliens that were in abundance at the Communist May-Day rallies and deport them (with or without families)?
I think it's important that everyone should be treated fairly. If conditions in the places from which the illegal immigrants came were better, they might not have had to be here in the first place-- they are doing what they can to get by. But why can't we welcome people into this country? There are no criteria by which we can judge who should be allowed to stay and who shouldn't.
