Hillary Still Bid on Intrade

I wandered over to the Intrade site yesterday to have a look at the easily influenced Presidential Campaign markets and was surprised to see that Hillary Clinton not only had bids but had rallied yesterday (on volume of about 740,000), sure the rally was only to 1.7 but it got me thinking, surely people do not believe that Hillary will be the next President, so what's going on? Well it could be short-covering by people who had previously sold Hillary futures and if so it is likely somebody (or organized somebodies) cashing out in order to influence the Obama market this weekend and next week. We saw very strange movements in the Bush market during election day 2004 and I think that we can expect a repeat next Tuesday. Here is SNL doing Hillary, Barack and that 3 AM call:

Hillary Clinton - Roll Call

She didn't even bother to memorize her short little speech presenting New York's delegates. It really struck me as an easy piece to put to memory. They've nominated Obama.

The Most Important Barrel of Oil? Hillary's Speech

Thoughts on the DNC

"Barack Obama believes that the most important barrel of oil is the one that you don't use!" That was the Montana Governor, he thinks that the less than 1% of electricity that we get from solar will somehow magically morph into our largest source of electricity during the next Presidential term. (Lord help us!) Where exactly do they find these folks? Wow, the scripted chants make them sound kind of cultish.
Movie:
Hillary had a train? What's with the train? I must have missed the train explanation. I thought that she was from Park Ridge.  Hillary is rockin', she's "playing with the boys", she's "for the families" what about the village? She's fighting again. The SNL appearance was really very good. They have Tina Fey on? Does Axelrod know? The train again? "Blast 50 women into space"? Huh? Is that Hillary as Jackie Gleason? To the moon Alice! Chelsea looks pretty good. Biden does not look happy. She's changing the world with that song? Bill's rocking, their chasing dreams and she's tearing up.
Hillary:
Lot of cheering, she's proud and she's a Senator and an American and an Obama supporter. Sure lady. She's "taking back the country", wasn't that Canned Heat? She's fighting again, this time it's for the future, she was in the trenches - of the Rose Law Firm, fighting. Nice hair Bill. "No way, no how, no McCain", she's going to go all Jesse Jackson on us. Don't they get tired of that stuff? She "laughed", she "cried". Sheesh. She's fighting again, for children who already have health care. She's grateful for Puerto Rico, the territories and all those left out by the Bush administration and the pants suit girls. She made history. Tubbs-Jones and the guy from Arkansas, yes I agree, both tragic loses. Bill's getting the survivors up. Back to humor. 8 years - we're hurting - no pants suits? Wait "partisan gridlock"? Huh? She's now rebuilding and working hard and saving and affording. Clean energy, wait, what? Honey, you're a Democrat. College affordable? What, the subsidies didn't work? Taking away workers votes and restoring sanity and she's now plundering? Wow, I'm getting worn out. Genocide, terrorism and global warming, tell it sister! She's wants you to want her. Now the whole thing is for a Marine? "No limits" for Hillary, "progress is never easy", she's fighting again. Now she's got Obama fighting, sure honey. Oooh they're a mile high tonight! She's got this unknown "green economy" thing going again. Oooh, government health care - don't get sick. Hillary and Michelle - cat fight. Hillary and Joe Biden ("wise"? wtf?) - cat fight! Oooh, a Twin Cities joke, their loving it - why didn't they put it on their BUMPERS?!?!? 1848 Seneca Falls or Marx's Communist Manifesto? Publicly it's Seneca, what about Alinsky? Keep going - hey what about the Jesse Jackson thing? She's "seen it". "We're Americans, we're not big on quitting." It's back to the Children, it's always the children. She's got faith. Yeh, Godspeed to you too honey. She's done, they're rockin', I guess they told the Obama delegates, cheer! Now they've got somebody from Aurora, Co. Good Lord, Disco Inferno? Burn baby burn, indeed.

A Button for PUMAs

As Bad As She Wants to Be - Hilary Clinton Circa 1996

Well the PUMAs and other Hilary Clinton supporters should love this button from the 1996 Democratic National Convention. The Convention was held in Chicago, home to the wild, pierced, tatooed and dyed Chicago Bulls basketball player Dennis Rodman.

Famous Democrats and Pick-Up Trucks

Photo: Drudge
When I saw this picture of Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (D-NY) on the Drudge Report I quickly recalled the late presidential brother Billy Carter, Billy Beer, the "Red Neck Power" pick-up and of course, the Rodham brothers. I guess that Hillary is just a former Tammy Wynette fan getting back to her roots.

35 Seconds Over the World Trade Center - pt. 2

In this post from last year I commented on the then recently revealed information that the US had waterboarded 3 terrorist for about 35 seconds each. Some clown from CNN went on air yesterday to equivocate that action with the Khmer Rouge's (Cambodian) government's murder of 2 million Cambodians. Here is a simple math exercise for CNN"s Christiane Amanapour: the terminal velocity of a skydiver without an open parachute is about 55 meters per second and the two World Trade Center buildings were 415 and 417 meters high, the question for Ms. Armapor and her colleagues at CNN is simple, how many Americans hit the ground after leaping to their death from the burning World Trade Center in the time that it took to break the 3 waterboarded Islamic terrorists? Having watched CNN I think that I should help them with the math, almost 4 2/3 Americans were killed in the time that it took to break each of the three terrorists who were waterboarded. I will submit that outside of our nation's newsrooms (and Sharia law) there is no such thing as two-thirds of a person so it is reasonable to round that number off. Five Americans hit the ground of the World Trade Center Plaza in the time that it took to break each of the three murderous terrorists by making them uncomfortable. That is a total (non rounded-off) of almost 14 murdered Americans in the time that it took to break all three of the healthy, LIVING, briefly uncomfortable Islamic terrorists.

To paraphrase Davy Crockett, CNN can go to hell, I'm going to Texas.

Pelosi Watch: Day 2 - Gone Fishing?

After skipping town last week without being able to find the time to protect America from terrorists by helping our intellegence services to, what do they call it? Ah yes, connect the dots. Well, Speaker Pelosi spent this weekend at her daughter's wedding but what is she doing instead of working this week? Has she joined the honeymoon?

This Robert Novak article outlines how much money trial lawyers, including some involved in current litigation addressed by the legislation in question have given to many Democrats currently involved in endangering America. Included in that list are Democratic profiles in courage Senators Barack Obama (D-IL) and Hillary Clinton (D-IL), they couldn't even be bothered to vote. If you work or live in a building that could be a target, by all means go read the Novak article. I will be thinking of those Democratic sell-outs as I walk into my "likely target" workplace Tuesday morning. What have our intellegence services missed during the last 36+ hours? Who knows? How much will they miss between now and whenever the Democraic leadership will allow America to protect herself? Who knows?

Ann Coulter to Vote for Hillary?

Copyright - Flying Debris/Vanity Fair

Ann Coulter stated on Hannity and Colmes tonight that she will vote for Hillary Clinton instead of John McCain. This should make for an interesting few days, at the very least.

The following is from her online column this week:

The bright side of the Florida debacle is that I no longer fear Hillary Clinton. (I mean in terms of her becoming president -- on a personal level, she's still a little creepy.) I'd rather deal with President Hillary than with President McCain. With Hillary, we'll get the same ruinous liberal policies with none of the responsibility.

The above (photoshopped) photo of Ann at the final Grateful Dead concert at Soldier Field is from this post. The linked post is a must read for any Coulter fan.

Hillary Brings Up Rezko

Edwards is now talking about "the children" but Hillary mentioned Rezko in the SC Dem Debate tonight. Tonight, she's her own attack dog. Here he goes on Social Security, these folks are largely debating the size of the Ponzi Scheme when it comes to Social Security.

Democrats Dress Fascist Pigs as Donkeys!

Democratic Congress-Creatures at the Trough

Again! Last January during the very first week of the "historic" Democratic take-over of the House and Senate the Democrats made an attempt to criminalize blogging, the better to keep those pesky opinion holders from sharing some of their more pesky opinions. Today the Senate will take up a new-fangled Democratic bill to take away the rights of workers to hold a private vote concerning union representation. This is the Democratic/Union Thug Relief Act of 2007. In a bizarre effort to, ahem, "help" working people the Democrats have decided that workers should not have any right to vote in private. This is just like municipal elections here in Chicago during the not so distant past, like this decade. Think of your Democratic precinct captain going into the polling booth along with you to ensure that you only vote for the Democratic candidate. Benito Mussolini would be very, very proud.

Add to all of that Democratic fascism the new speech regulations suggested by Senators Boxer (D-Ca) and Clinton (D-NY) that have been approved of by Sen. Feinstein (D-Ca.) who said on Fox News Sunday that she was "looking at it. I remember when there was a fairness doctrine," she said, "and I think there was much more serious correct reporting to people." Let me get this straight, she thinks that there was "much more serious correct reporting" in some gilded golden age of the past? The California Senatorial delegation has some, ahem, "issues"; I blame Owsley Stanley!

It is very strange that although the Democrats use the "public airways" argument for this bit of fascist thinking, they are not complaining about the use of "public airways" by our wonderful left-wing television networks. Let's see, CBS News used fraudulent documents in an attempt to tar President Bush with a Democratic lie just 55 days before a Presidential election; but it is the radio stations that are closest to "the people" that are the real problem here. Just six months before Dan Rather's public lie the goofs at NBC News interviewed an Egyptian, ahem, "journalist" who announced that Donald Rumsfeld "is a neo-nazi". No problem there of course, all of those elites believe that Rumsfeld is a nazi of some stripe and we all know that, ahem, "journalists" from Egypt are very fair minded, right? But it really is the radio stations that we all need to control.

One of the problems here is that most Democratic politicians do not understand capitalism (otherwise they wouldn't these fascistic ideas) well enough to understand that radio station owners have to sell ads in order to stay in business and nobody, not even those liberals want to hear any more of that liberal silliness. They have their political speech federally subsidized on the radio at National Public Radio (NPR) and on television on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) but they want to take away the freedom to listen to the politics of one's choice. God Save Us All From Their Fascist Regime! (with apologies to the Sex Pistols) The Democrats will never go after their own sacred cows, subsidized or not; hell, they even want the New York Times to leak classified information to make life much more dangerous for the troops they, ahem,"support."

Senators, you can dress a fascist pig up as a donkey but it is still a fascist pig.

Is Obama an Al Queda Strategist?

In this morning’s Chicago Sun Times Washington correspondent Lynn Sweet has another in her long line of Obama puff pieces. In this one she explained Obama’s comments on Hillary Clinton’s Iraq stance. In the article Sweet quotes Obama as saying, “what I think good strategy dictates is that we begin the process of redeploying our troops.” Great strategy Senator, Run Away, Run Away! That Barak he really is a strong “leader”, if you want to fail. Mr. Barak Hussein Obama is sounding more and more like an Al Qaeda strategist every day.

Update: The title is a rhetorical question based on the fact that Senator Obama's "strategy" suggestion for the US is very similar, if not the same as that given to the US by al qaeda leaders during numerous threatening television broadcasts. It saddens me that so many of my fellow Chicagoans have been using the same rhetoric in regards to the Iraq war as used by the most despicable oppressors of my lifetime, the jihadists.

Hillary Talks to Nixon’s Ghost!

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has promised that “(i)f we in Congress don't end this war before January 2009, as president, I will." It sounds somewhat reminiscent of President Nixon’s “Peace With Honor” speech; without the honor.
